Strategy
Danone North America, a leader in the food and beverage industry and a Certified B Corporation®, has supported graduate students for over a decade through its Fellowship Grant program. Now in its 13th year, the program provides $25,000 grants to two students researching the role of the gut microbiome, yogurt, and probiotics in human health.
To help amplify visibility and maintain credibility in the scientific and nutrition communities, we manage the fellowship from start to finish. This includes drafting and distributing a press release via PR Newswire to announce the application window, managing applicant outreach and the review process, coordinating with academic and internal scientific stakeholders, announcing the winners publicly and conducting proactive media outreach to secure coverage around the grant and Danone North America.
Results
The 2025 Fellowship Grant application cycle generated media coverage in key nutrition and academic outlets, driving high-quality applicants from top-tier U.S. institutions. Our team sorted through dozens of applications, coordinated with Danone’s scientific advisors, and facilitated a smooth selection process.
